I checked my reflection in the mirror again, applying one last coat of mascara to my long lashes.

I was home from school, and was getting ready for Ashley's party. I was actually somewhat excited about it- seeing as everyone would be too drunk to remember me in the morning, I could actually dress how I wanted, without ruining my status. I took full advantage of the opportunity.

Ashley's P.O.V.

A crisp fall breeze blew across the Eastwood High School's campus, though it hardly felt cold under the blazing sun. I sat in one of the many picnic tables scattered about behind the main building, enjoying the long lunch period.

   "'Sup, Ashley." My peace was interrupted by Jake, the football captain, sliding less than gracefully into the seat across from me, his girlfriend Ella pressed close to his side.

   I faked a grin and answered, "Nothing much." He snorted and looked disapprovingly at my outfit, but decided not to say anything. I was wearing a letterman jacket over an old Motley Crue shirt and ripped skinnies. On my feet I was wearing ankle-length cowboy boots.

   He sighed and rolled his eyes, running a hand through his thick hair. "So I hear you're hosting the party tonight." My smile slipped slightly, but I guess it must've not been very noticable.

   "Uhh, yeah," I responded, itching my forehead. Every Friday night one of the football team members, a group to which I belonged, ended up hosting a huge party that pissed off every adult in town, full of illegal drinking and drugs. It was my misfortune to have to host it tonight.

   Ella perked up when I responded. "Ooh, ooh, I have a great idea!" The way she said it, it sounded as if it was something she was immensely proud of, but would make my life absolute hell. She continued, saying, "You should invite Andy Biersack!" She continued grinning, even though both Jake and I hissed quietly.

   Why should I have been surprised? Andy Biersack- school playboy. Gorgeous and seductive, and definitely not a virgin. Almost no guy friends, but even more popular with the ladies than the whole football team combined, plus maybe half the basketball team. He was smart, too, surpassing me in every class. He was like Johnny Depp, Albert Einstein and Bill Kaulitz, all rolled into one.

   "Please?" Ella begged, making Bambi eyes at me from behind her thick sunglasses. I wavered, and she smiled- I couldn't resist Bambi eyes.

   "Fine," I muttered, getting up and walking towards the school, throwing my lunch into the trash as I went.

   I didn't have to look long- Andy was sitting on a picnic blanket under a large tree, his arms wrapped around two different girls, his face nuzzled into one's neck while the other ran her fingers through his long black hair. There were a few girls sitting on the edges, with his two right-hand men, Christian Coma and Jinxx.

   I waited impatiently for a few moments, before awkwardly clearing my throat. I felt a lump grow in my throat when he looked at me with his piercing blue eyes stared at me. I was transfixed- I had never seen eyes like that. He must wear contacts.

   "What do you want?" He asked in a low, smooth voice, snapping me out of my reverie. I heard a few girls snicker behind me, and I blushed.

   "W-well, I'm having a party tonight, and I was wondering... if you would be interested in coming..." He raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow when he heard how forced the last words were.

   "I don't know. Depends... Jinxx! Should we go?" He called over to one of the boys behind me. Jinxx must have nodded, because Andy gave a sort of half-smile and said, "I guess that means we're going."

   Just then, the bell rang, an tinny clanging sound, and he stood up, giving the girls under his arms a little push towards the building, before leaning up next to my ear and whispering, "Well... Ashley, is it? Looking forward to tonight." I jumped back as he walked away, his laughter disappearing as he walked around the corner of the building, leaving me alone.
